The Reptile Journalist

My name is Nick Paduchowski. I am a young Reptile keeper and breeder. I keep various types of reptiles and I'll occasionally have an amphibian or two. My passion started at a very young age, my father started to keep fish and I was mesmerized by these fish that he kept. This is what truly sparked my passion for reptiles and animals in general. I would keep and care for these fish every day because I truly loved these creatures. After my father spotted that I had a keen interest in animals, he would take me to the local woods anytime he could and we would go and catch garter snakes. I would beg for days on end to go to the forest so I could catch snakes and hold them. When I was 8 years old my father decided to allow me to get my first reptile, a green anole. My friend had a couple of them so I decided, I want one. I had absolutely no idea how to care for this thing, I would feed him crickets and such but I didn't have a UVB bulb, so he died after being in my possession for 2 years. In a couple months, I got my first leopard gecko which I still have to this day. I just absolutely love reptiles and that's why I keep them to this day. I am starting to get Carpet Pythons to breed so hopefully, I will have some Carpet Pythons for you guys soon enough.
